We have a lot going on at church this spring! Here is some basic info for your family, so that you can carry on the discussion during the week at home.
What did we do in church school on Sunday?
Well, we didn’t do what was planned! We were planning on planting a flowering shrub and doing some light yard work, but God had other plans. He sent some rain, and inside we stayed!
First, we finished the cards for Meals-on-Wheels by writing messages on the inside. Great job, everyone! They will be sent today. Here are some examples:
What else did we do in church school on Sunday?
Next, we played a review game with the big, giant game board that the teens made. The board is so big that the kids are the playing pieces! We reviewed everything we have learned this year so far. Some were “beginner” questions; some were a little more challenging. Here are some of the questions. See if you can answer:
How can we pray about this?
You can make up your prayers using this to start:
Dear God, Thank you for the rain so that we can have nice plants. Thank you for all of the teachers at Tuthill House, who help us learn and grow every week. We pray for the people who will receive our cards with their meals. Help them to stay healthy and let them know that they are loved. We pray for all of this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
What does the Bible say about our rained-out day at church school?
