We are a group of dedicated individuals passionate about serving the Lord.

Atkinson Congregational Church is a mission-minded congregation where faith comes to life as we respond to the needs around us.  At Atkinson we support mission and outreach locally, nationally, and globally.  There are plenty of ways to get involved.

EXTRAVAGANT WELCOME

Help create a God-centered atmosphere while on our church campus.

If you attend Atkinson Congregational Church, we encourage you to serve regularly and to connect with others in the process. Each week we need people to welcome people to the church, provide information and offer hospitality.  You don’t have to have all the answers, but a warm, smiling face will make a lasting impression.  These opportunities require minimal time commitment.

Opportunities include:

·      Become a Sunday Greeter

·      Help Welcome Visitors

·      Host a Sunday Fellowship Hour or Soup Sunday

NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS

Lend a helping hand, at another’s time of need.

Neighbors are variety of programs that help the residents of our surrounding area striving to make a positive impact on individual lives and the local community.  Your help provides HOPE to those in need. 

 

Opportunities include:

·      Ride Share

·      Food Pantry Support

·      Soup Kitchen Volunteer

·      Financial & Goods Donations

DOING GOD'S WORK

Come as you are

Whether it be in our backyard or across the world, the purpose of our church’s existence is to carry out God’s will to help and serve others.  Putting our faith into action is at the very heart of our Christian calling. By volunteering to serve in one of our programs, every person in the church has the opportunity to live their calling more faithfully.

 

Opportunities include:

·      Habitat for Humanity Builds

·      CROP Walk to end Hunger

·      Current Disaster Volunteer or Donation Opportunities
