KID'S CLUB
Atkinson Congregational is a place where
children have fun learning about Jesus.
Welcome to Kid's Club, our vibrant and engaging church school program! We meet every Sunday during the school year at 10:00 AM in Tuthill House, providing a nurturing and fun environment for children from Pre-K through middle school.
At Kid's Club, we follow the GO! curriculum, which takes our students on an exciting journey through the life of Jesus. Each week, children read stories from the Bible, supported by engaging video narratives, hands-on arts and crafts, and interactive activities that bring the teachings to life. Our goal is to help children grow in their faith while building a strong sense of community.
We invite all children in our community to join us on Sundays for a time of learning, creativity, and fellowship. Whether you're new to our church or a long-time member, Kid's Club is a welcoming space where every child can explore their faith and form lasting friendships.

NURSERY
For our youngest members and visitors, Atkinson Congregational Church offers a warm and nurturing nursery care program every Sunday during our 10:00 AM service. Our dedicated and caring volunteers provide a safe and loving environment where infants and toddlers can play, rest, and engage in age-appropriate activities.
Parents can attend the worship service with peace of mind, knowing their little ones are in good hands. Our nursery is equipped with everything needed to ensure your child’s comfort and safety, allowing them to experience the beginnings of their faith journey in a supportive and joyful setting.
We welcome all families to take advantage of our nursery care and be part of our church community.
WHAT TO EXPECT
AGE APPROPRIATE CONTENT
Whatever your children’s ages, we have biblical teaching, music, games and activities that fit their own unique needs.
RESOURCES
On your way home, ask your kids what they learned. We provide resources for parents to follow up with their kids on the curriculum we are teaching.
SAFETY
Keeping your children safe and secure is our top priority. All of our volunteers are screened with a federal background check and we have security personel that monitors the exits and hallways.
VIRTUAL SCHOOL
Virtual Church School is designed to allow our families an opportunity to flexibly provide faith-based school for the children in their families. Each week we will guide you through a lesson created by the GO+ team. The lesson will including high energy videos, Bible stories, and activities. Learn more.
VACATION BIBLE CAMP
For one week every summer, we offer a Vacation Bible Camp for children. It is a fun and exciting week for the kids and volunteers, filled with games, crafts, snacks, music, and Bible stories.
CONFIRMATION
We offer Confirmation classes to students in grades 8 and above. These classes, led by Pastor Jim, give our students the opportunity to explore: the Bible, its origins, and how to use it; Christian beliefs; understanding God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit; and the Christian church. Students will also explore their faith regarding some vital questions about the importance of church and the meaning of confirmation.
CURRICULUM
Our PK-Grade 5 students enjoy the Go+ curriculum. We follow the life of Jesus. The students learn from Bible stories, activities and a fun weekly cartoon.
TEEN VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Are you a student looking for a place to volunteer, serve God, or complete service hours for school? Join us at our church dinners and other events. Volunteer to play your instrument or sing. Help us out at Bible Camp. We also send volunteers to NuDay Syria in Derry and the Sonshine Soup Kitchen. There are cleaning and planning opportunities available at the church. We also welcome teen assistants at our annual Bible Camp. There are many ways to serve; come be a part of it all! Please contact the church office for more information.
