The Blue Christmas service is open to everyone, but meant for folks that struggle during the holidays, due to loss, separation, illness, etc. It is a short, quiet service. The combination of winter darkness and life’s events of crisis or challenge can bring hurt instead of joy at Christmas when feelings of down-ness prevail and are deepened by our neighbors’ glad tidings.
